Once upon a time, the synthetic leather industry was trapped in environmental pollution and it was difficult to change and improve. In the face of fierce market competition and urgent environmental protection needs, water-based KAIYUE has been a green enterprise centred on water-based polyurethane resins and water-based leather surface treatment agents, and has become a leader in the environment-friendly water-based synthetic leather industry.

Water-based polyurethane resin, which is green and environmentally friendly like water, can be dissolved in water non-toxicly and harmlessly. It is now widely used in the fields of synthetic leather manufacturing, textiles, coatings and so on.
Since 2010, Kaiyue Technology has made innovations in water-based polyurethane resins and water-based leather surface treatment agents through improvements in formulas, processes, and equipment. More than 90% of traditional polyurethane resins are solvent-based, with organic solvents accounting for about 70%, and most solvents cannot be recycled, causing serious pollution to the environment. The successful development of water-based polyurethane resin has almost changed the production pattern of chemical industry and its downstream industries. This research and development result not only makes Hyatt’s own products more environmentally friendly, but also promotes the green transformation of manufacturing processes in downstream industries, thereby achieving the sustainable development of related industry chains.
The development and production of water-based leather is the core embodiment of the “green development” concept that Kaiyue Technology has upheld for many years: relying on technological innovation, researching and industrializing a series of green product projects to promote sustainable development of itself and the entire industrial chain . At present, Kaiyue Technology has several water-based synthetic leather production lines. Products are widely used in shoes, handbag, garments, furniture, electronic packaging leather, and other fields.
In the future, Kaiyue Technology has implemented the construction of the second-stage production plant, which is expected to be completed in 2020.
