Introduction of Natural Leather and Synthetic Leather?

The natural leather is mainly classified into pig leather, cow leather, sheep leather, horse leather, donkey leather and kangaroo leather, and a small amount of fish leather, reptile leather, amphibian leather, ostrich leather and so on. Cattle leather is divided into cattle leather, buffalo leather, yak leather and calf leather; sheep leather is divided into sheep leather and goat leather.

Synthetic leather is made of synthetic material. It is not afraid of moth, not easy to mildew and has good surface water resistance, but synthetic leather is not resistant to high temperature and chemical erosion. There are many kinds of imitation leather materials, such as PU and PVC.

1. According to the nature of materials

PU leather: PU is polyurethane, which is divided into polyether type and polyurethane type. PU leather refers to a kind of artificial leather product with coated PU. It is characterized by the softest texture, flexural resistance and certain moisture absorption.

PVC leather; the first generation of PVC artificial leather products, it is based on textile or knitting materials. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin is a kind of imitation leather coated with natural leather. It has bright appearance, soft texture, wear resistance, bending resistance, acid and alkali resistance, etc.

Gold stamping imitation leather: Animal skin-like fabrics are imitated by gold stamping.

2. According to the modification characteristics:

Elastic leather: It has good flexibility, clear grain, soft and rich color.

Scuffing Leather: The surface layer has a certain effect layer, which can produce different effects from the bottom layer through friction, forming a sensory double-color effect or classical scorching effect.

Simulated leather: It has a good simulation effect. The facial mechanism is clear to simulate the pore, light top face, and the pore edge is blurred.

Suede imitation leather: It has the similar characteristics of suede leather. The surface is synthetic and the back is fibrous.

Mirror leather: Similar to mirror leather, it is coated with moisture curable polyurethane to make the coating shine like a mirror, but on the opposite side it is a synthetic layer or a knitting layer.

Rubbing leather: It has double-color covering of the bottom and the surface. It can reproduce the part of the bottom color by friction and form a double-color reflecting effect.
